My name is Glenn McGovern. I’m a motorcyclist, a motorcycle racer, and a certified Motorcycle Safety Foundation instructor in MSF basic motorcycles. Motorcycles have been a part of me for my entire life. I’m also an aggressive, dedicated motorcycle jury trial attorney. We represent and advocate for injured motorcyclists. There is one thing we won’t do— we do not represent big insurance companies. We fight for individual motorcyclists only. We also advocate and lobby legislatures for laws that protect motorcyclists.

This book aims to give you a better idea of the current state of laws, rights, and issues pertaining to motorcyclists in Louisiana and throughout the United States. I tell you my personal stories, and how I have changed and learned as a result of riding and advocating for motorcyclists. I explain the largest gaps in motorcycle safety, and what you need to do to protect your rights.

My passion is to protect the rights of motorcyclists and their families. Right now, the laws do not protect us when we are on our motorcycles. This is wrong. The law is not on our side.
